0007 Thin Ice Skating by wallyandosborne 0007 Thin Ice Skating by wallyandosborne
When I was a kid I use to go and ice skate on rivers and ponds. Sometimes playing hockey with friends. I had always been really careful when Id hear the cracking sounds, or see the darker spots in the ice. Id heard stories of people falling through the ice before and would practice in my head thinking about how to get out and how much time before the hypothermia would take me. I never fell in the ice though, all the practice for nothing.

By the way: Polar bears and penguins live on opposite sides of the globe.

And how can the ice hold the much heavier bear?

Additionally: Penguins are excellent swimmers: especially in ice water.

OK, I know, I know: It doesn't matter here! :-)

New edit: I didn't read the first strip until now. This explains that the polar bear really is an alien here in Antarctica.

Anyway: This strips really made me laugh!! Carry on, please!
